Derrick Caracter F Los Angeles Lakers

Derrick Caracter of the currently playoff Los Angeles Lakers was arrested in the early morning of Easter on three charges; Battery, Public Intoxication, and Resisting Arrest.

The incident occurred at a IHOP when a waitress, who was at first reportedly pregnant, refused to serve Caracter due to the fact that he was too intoxicated. The arrest happened at around 1:00 AM when he repeatedly hit the waitress because, well, she wouldn't give the drunk ass his Denver Scramble. A manger ran outside and flagged down a police officer who tried to diffuse the situation, but Caracter wouldn't cooperate.

Later it was corrected that the waitress was, in fact, not pregnant.

The Rookie Caracter has been inactive for the entirety of the playoff series against the New Orleans Hornets thus far, and I wouldn't expect anything else going forward. He was the 58th selection in the NBA Draft.

 Jim Anderson/TheDailyCampus

Jamal Coombs-McDaniel, who averaged 5.6 points/game, was arrested along with 5 other people in a college dorm at around 11:30 PM for possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred April 21st.

In a search of the dorm, police found 5.6 grams of marijuana, a marijuana grinder, and a package of cigars usually used to smoke marijuana.

Bail was set at $500, and he is set to go to court again on May 5. He has likely already faced the wrath of Jim Calhoun, which might be worse.

Ryan Braun OF Milwaukee Brewers

Ryan "The Hebrew Hammer" Braun just got locked up by the Milwaukee Brewers until the 2020 season, which will keep him around until he is roughly 37 years old.

The three time All-Star starter and winner of the 2007 NL Rookie of the Year award signed a deal that is reportedly worth $105 million that extends the deal another 5 seasons at roughly $21 million/year. The deal puts him up there near the top of the list for highest paid outfielders.

That's a lot of drinking money.

Jordan Railey C Iowa State

Iowa State Center Jordan Railey has been arrested for the 2nd time in the 2011 year. His first arrest came in January when he was booked for an OWI after a one car accident. He was suspended for 2 games following that arrest.

This time, Railey was seen throwing a punch at a man outside of a bar that is popular for Iowa State students. He was ordered to stop by police but kept on walking, and when police caught up with him he pulled away and was generally uncooperative. He was booking on a charge of disorderly conduct.

He has been suspended indefinitely by the Cyclones, who will surely miss his 2 points/game.
